Hey! I’m Chris, a wedding photographer with over 18 years’ worth of experience —

I specialise in candid, ‘fly-on-the-wall’ style wedding photography that tells your story. I’m not your traditional photographers in that I keep staged portrait photos to a minimum – I let you live in the moment and capture your story and love throughout the day. The best photos are the ones where people are being natural!

With my relaxed, friendly nature and love for photography, I bring out the best in you with your smiles and laughs on your amazing day.

Outside of working the best job in the world, you’ll find me exploring York, going on hikes and travels, or just relaxing at our city centre home with my wife and our two rescue cats, Nyx (our very own Yorkshire lass) and Ziggy (he’s Greek!).

With over eighteen years of experience, it’s safe to say I’ve found my calling. My photography journey has taken me across the country and abroad, and it’s given me so many memories to cherish – the best part being that moment I send the photos to the couple and they come back saying they love them.

I am now taking bookings for 2026 and beyond.

Chris was friendly and approachable and made our day so much easier. He slipped into the day seamlessly and was genuinely so much fun to hang out with and speak to. It was like having an extra friend there. He was encouraging and perfect company when we were feeling nervous.

As for the photos, they are awesome. Chris is incredibly talented and we could not be happier with the outcome. He captured candid moments beautifully and could we see our personalities in each photo.
